Late Brahama Deo Giri actively participated in India’s freedom struggle and played a significant role in the movements guided by Mahatma Gandhi. Between 1942 and 1947, he bravely led several initiatives and faced imprisonment for his dedication to the nation. His courage, commitment, and selfless service earned him recognition from both the state and central governments, and he was honored for his lifelong contribution to India’s independence.

Beyond his role in the freedom struggle, he worked tirelessly for the betterment of society, including the development of schools and educational institutions in his village. His passion for education and social welfare inspired the establishment of Daffodil’s Academy, aiming to nurture young minds with values, knowledge, and character.
